Wood Milling in Pennsylvania

If you plan to have your lumber kiln dried, it would be best to take it to the kiln immediately. Chestnut lumber provides custom dried wood for contractors and lumber resellers.  Our services are for those who buy green lumber from one of the many small sawmills in Pennsylvania that are interested in drying and possibly surfacing the lumber.  Our kiln has 20 to 25,000 bd ft capabilities. We offer custom drying of cut wood with a dry time of  10 to 14 days for pine and 14 to 28 days for hardwood.
